This lesson is based on Session 4 of the Reading Circles module Frindle, where we explore the theme of ‘Friend or Foe’. Along the way, we will examine inferences about characters’ motivations and create opportunities for students to respond critically to differing perspectives.
About the teacher
Rachel is a Senior Teacher in the EL Department at Canberra Primary School, where she supports and strengthens teaching and learning practices across the team. She has experience teaching in both secondary and primary schools, as well as serving in different secondment roles outside of MOE schools. Her professional interests include assessment literacy and differentiated instruction for meeting diverse learning needs.
