Date: 16 March 2026

Time: 1400-1530

Venue: Online (Meeting details will be sent via email before the event)

Presenter: MTT Pearlyn Lim (Academy of Singapore Teachers)

In this concurrent session, participants will delve into the teaching actions within the Singapore Teaching Practice that can be differentiated for Higher Ability Learners (HAL). Specifically, participants will discuss mathematics examples related to selected teaching actions, exploring how they can be applied to enhance the learning for HAL in mixed ability classrooms. Some examples will incorporate the use of EdTech and AI tools. Participants will also have the chance to design tasks for HAL based on chosen teaching actions and discuss approaches to effectively facilitate these tasks. While the examples provided primarily target Primary 3 to 6 students, the principles discussed will also be relevant for lower primary levels.
