LJ4 Making Connections through "A Walk in the Singapore Botanic Gardens"
Date: 1 April 2026
Time: 1400 - 1700
Venue: Singapore Botanic Gardens
Facilitator: NParks officer
With more parks being connected and built around HDB towns, complete with facilities to appreciate local biodiversity and experience the positive effects of nature immersion on well-being, this Learning Journey is designed to encourage schools to utilise park walks as meaningful connections to Primary Science topics such as Diversity of Living Things, Plant Parts and Function, Circulatory and Respiratory Systems, and Ecosystems.
After the guided walk, participants will explore how to geo-plot their own learning journeys and discuss how they might use SLS lessons for pre-trip learning and archive post-trip demonstration of learning.

2:30 - 3pm: Tips on conducting outdoor learning
3 - 4pm: Guided walk with volunteer guides
