Three schools will present their approaches and the principles that underpin their curricula designed for academically talented students. The presentations will also highlight the identification processes across various domains. Schools will share evidence-based provisions, programming options, and curriculum modifications that are tailored to meet individual student needs. Additionally, the schools will discuss their strategies for building teacher capacity through professional development and fostering teacher mindsets that support and nurture both student growth and talent development. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session, where participants can ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the implementation of frameworks that integrate identification, programming and teacher development.

About the presenters
John is a seasoned primary school leader with over 22 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to developing people at every level. He began his teaching journey in the Gifted Education Programme, where he spent five years nurturing high-potential learners. Building on this foundation, John expanded his practice to support students across a wide range of learning profiles—from low-progress learners to students with special educational needs. Throughout his career, John has remained passionate about working alongside teachers to strengthen classroom practice, particularly in the crucial first six years of formal education. His work is driven by a strong belief that every child can succeed when educators are empowered, supported, and equipped to meet diverse learning needs. John brings practical insight, empathy, and a learner-centred approach to his leadership and professional engagements.
